Emmett Public Safety Child Identification Program
Page: 1/2

Welcome
It's a parent's worst nightmare -- a missing child. It seems we're hearing more about it on the news every day. According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), one of the most critical issues that surfaces time and again when a child is reported missing, is a parent's ability to get an up-to-date photo and other pertinent information to the media and law enforcement officials right away.

No one wants to think that the unimaginable could happen to them, but according to statistics, nearly 2,000 children are reported missing or abducted each day in the United States. Gathering all of the information law enforcement officials need after the fact can be a daunting task, especially under duress.

That's why the Emmett Township Department of Public Safety is happy to introduce a Digital ID child safety program called the Calhoun County Safe Kids Project.
